Mr Gautam Adani, the Chairman and Founder of the Adani Group, has more than 33 years of business experience. Under his leadership, Adani Group has emerged as a global integrated infrastructure player with interest across Resources, Logistics and Energy verticals. Mr Adani’s success story is extraordinary in many ways. His journey has been marked by his ambitious and entrepreneurial vision, coupled with great vigour and hard work. This has not only enabled the Group to achieve numerous milestones but also resulted in creation of a robust business model which is contributing towards building sound infrastructure in India.
Associated with Adani Group since its inception, Mr Rajesh Adani is in charge of the operations of the Group and has been responsible for developing its business relationships.His proactive, personalized approach to the business and competitive spirit has helped towards the growth of the Group and its various businesses.
A mechanical engineering graduate from Government Engineering College, Haryana, Mr. Vneet S Jaain has been leading power projects including all facets from conceptualisation to commissioning and operation. Mr Jaain is experienced in project management across many industries including coal and iron ore mining, coal washery, cross country water pipelines, cross country conveyors and railway lines. He has been responsible for commissioning several power projects in the country. Before joining Adani Power in 2006, he was working with Jindal Steel and Power.
Mr. Raminder Singh Gujral is B.A. (Economic Honours), LLB, MBA (IIM Ahmedabad) and M.A. (International Finance/ Business – Fletcher School). He retired from the post of Finance Secretary (Government of India) in 2013. He has held various posts in the Central Government and has sufficient experience on functioning of CBEC and CBDT. He has held positions of Secretary (Revenue), Secretary (Expenditure) and Secretary (Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways). He also served as Chairman of National Highways Authority of India. He was also the Director General of Foreign Trade and Chairman of Board of Governors of National Institute of Financial Management. He also worked in the Indian Administrative Services for over 37 years.
Mr. Mukesh M. Shah, Chartered Accountant, M. Com. LL.B., FCA, Founder of the firm Mukesh M. Shah & Co. and Managing Partner, with more than 30 years’ experience, Under his leadership the firm has grown from proprietorship in 1978 to over 75 people operating out of 3 locations in India at present. He has commendable knowledge in diversified fields of Audit & Assurance, Tax & Regulatory matters, Transactions advisory services, Due Diligence, Corporate Restructuring including Mergers, De-mergers, Valuations, Acquisition and Sale, Project Finance, FEMA & Regulatory matters. He is Managing Trustee of leading educational institute running 5 colleges imparting education to more than 6,500 students in the city of Ahmedabad. He had been committee member of Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad and ITAT Bar Association, Ahmedabad. He is on the Board of Directors of some companies as an independent director offering valuable guidance on the company's policies and good corporate governance.
Ms. Gauri Trivedi, aged 58 years, M.A. (Political Science) from JNU, Delhi, M. Phil (Soviet Studies), JNU, Delhi, Doctorate in Philosophy from Institute of Social & Economic Change, Bangalore and Institute of Development Studies, Mysore and PGPPM from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore. During her illustrious career, she had held number of administrative posts in Karnataka including Assistant Commissioner, Joint Director (Commerce and Industry), Chief Secretary/ Director (Rural Development and Panchayati Raj), Deputy Commissioner (Excise), Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies. She had also been General Manager (Handloom & Handicrafts Export Corporation), Director of Tea Promotion (WANA), Managing Director (HESCOM), a power distribution company, Managing Director (Karnataka State Food & Civil Supplies Corporation), Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Govt. of Karnataka and Secretary to the Governor of Karnataka.
In August 2007, Ms. Gauri Trivedi took Voluntary Retirement from the Government of India due to her personal reasons.
After VRS, she was Vice President RRL and Director SIRD. She had been guest faculty in a number of reputed institutes teaching governance, public policy, rural planning and management.
She is currently guest faculty at IIM, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration, CEPT, Ahmedabad and Consultant AIILSG. She teaches government officers, Civil Servant aspirants, young students and NGOs the public policy, rural planning and management, current affairs and governance.
She has done a project for World Bank on Street vendors and is currently doing the project for the Government of MP on Women Beneficial Programs.
